Email is the way to reach us. Send the project, large or small, easy or difficult. Include the details below and we reply with a scope and a date, or a quote if you ask for one.
Or write to jc@sectionlineland.com from your own mail program. The button above opens a message with the checklist already filled in.
We use modern tools to move through records quickly, we work with hundreds of landmen around the country so big projects get done on time, and we are glad to see the files with gaps, missing probates and old unreleased mortgages. If your project looks like that, say so in your first email.
What to include
- County and state
- Legal description (section, township and range, or lot and block)
- How far back: current owner, a set number of years, or patent to present
- What you need: runsheet, ownership report, abstract, imaging, curative or something else
- The format you want: spreadsheet, tabbed PDF, or your own template
- Your due date
- Any known title problems, such as gaps in the chain, missing probates, old mortgages or name differences
- Anything already done, such as earlier runsheets, opinions or lease lists
What happens next
